Reciprocal-disclosure hiring
A fairer way to find work, one step at a time.
You share what you can do. Employers share what the job is really like. Each step is matched, so trust grows both ways.

Why hiring goes wrong on both sides
- 01
Both sides rationally hold back. Whoever reveals more, first, has less leverage — so neither reveals much.
- 02
Candidates inflate, because honesty on a résumé costs you the interview.
- 03
Employers market, because honesty about the job costs them good candidates.
- 04
Interviews test how well you interview, which is not the same as how well you do the work.
- 05
Rejection destroys information. You are told no, never told what was missing or how close you were.
- 06
A capable person from an unfashionable college is invisible before anyone reads a word.
The mechanism
Four steps. At each one, both sides share.
You move forward together: when you share a proof, the employer shares the matching information about the role.

Proof, not résumés
"5 years, expert in payments systems"
Payouts service refactor · reviewed work sample · verified
A claim asks to be believed. A proof can be checked — once — and then reused for every role, so you never re-apply from scratch.
When it is a near miss
Rejection is information. We give it back instead of throwing it away.

Backend roles in Pune, Bengaluru and Hyderabad
Most platforms tell you no and keep the reason. Here the reason is the route.
What employers publish
The Workplace Reality Index
On SETU, being described accurately scores better than being described well. The numbers are the employer's own, published before you apply.
Example: a backend team, Pune
- Team attrition, last 12 months
- 11%
- Median tenure
- 31 months
- Pay actually paid in this band
- ₹9–13 LPA
- Offer-to-join rate
- 82%
- Response commitment
- Within 3 working days

What we hold ourselves to
Published every quarter, whether or not the numbers flatter us. We are measuring from launch; until we have a full cohort, we will not print a figure.

For candidates
Start with a job that has already shown you something.
See the pay, the work and the conditions before you decide whether this role deserves your time.
Your next step is small
No long application. Pick a role, see what the employer has published and open a matched exchange.
- 01
Browse real roles
Pay, location and the work are visible before you apply.
- 02
Open a fair exchange
Each proof you release is matched by information from the employer.
- 03
Reuse your proof
Verify your work once, then carry it to the next role.
